THE 2021 MAPSO BOOK FEST – KIDS, BRING YOUR PARENTS Due to COVID, most publishers are not booking events for their adult authors, so we decided to go all-kid’s authors for 2021. A bit different than in the past, but we are really looking forward to a different kind of festival during a very different time. The festival will also be one-day only this year, Sunday, September 26th, from 11AM-4PM at the Woodland in Maplewood, NJ. The festival is free of charge. We hope many of you will join us! In the wake of the 2020 pandemic, and coming away from what has been one of the worst chapters in our history as a nation, we wanted to lighten the mood a little and go with a happy theme. This year we celebrate love in its many forms: spiritual, romantic, self, parental, friendship and any other kind of love that is undefinable. We want to lift up the voices that tell the stories of love in all its pain and beauty, to celebrate reading and another great love—the love of books!
